Biographial Sketch of Cory Zipperle:
Cory, a native of Denver, Colorado, started taking an interest in piano at an early age. His parents, losing their patients with him pounding on the thing, as toddlers are prone to do, enrolled him in music lessons. For 10 years, Cory studdied classical music and competed in a number of local and state competitions.
Around the time he turned 10, Cory started to get involved in the worship programs at his church when a youth minister thought that Cory would be good at running sound. And that is when Cory started learning both the art and science behind sound reinforcement.
In 1996, Cory moved to Manhattan, Kansas, where he attended MCC and persued a degree in pastoral ministry. After a couple of years in this program, Cory decided that pastoral ministry wasn't exactly his calling, and decided to persue a degree through MCC's LEAD program in Management and Ethics.
It was while at MCC that Cory met his wife, Shelly. Within two years of meeting eachother, they got married.
About four years ago, Cory and Shelly moved to Topeka where he started playing keys at Northland Christian Church for the contemporary service. When the opportunity to be missionaries at CPCC arose, Cory and Shelly decided that this would be their next church home - where they have remained to this day.
These days Cory works full time for Stone House Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. He works the night shift scraping poo and other assorted activities. In addition, he provides computer and network consulitng and repair services.
