Biographial Sketch of Tim Maddock:

Tim grew up in Topeka, attending Northland Christian Church until his family moved his sophomore year to Norton, KS. While in Norton, Tim was challenged and inspired by his youth pastor to pursue youth ministry. Tim moved to Manhattan in the fall of 1978 to attend Manhattan Christian College, and while there, he met his future bride, Deaune Dunn. He graduated from MCC and Kansas State the same year he and Deaune got married, which was 1983. In 1981, while still in college, Tim began ministering in Topeka at Northland Christian Church, the same church he had grown up in. He served as Youth Minister at NCC for 14 years, and has also been the Family Life Minister, as well as the Outreach Minister.

In 2003, Tim felt the Lord was preparing him to lead a church. He has a passion for lost people, a shepherd's heart, and a passion to preach and teach the Word in an exciting and relevant way. God has blessed him with a number of volunteer ministers within the congregation who lead in numerous ministries of the church.

Tim has been married to his lovely wife Deaune for 21 years, and they have three children. Chris is 15, and he loves sports, video games, and has a tender heart for little kids; Aleesha is 13, and she enjoys her friends, getting online, and did I mention friends?; Sarah is 6, and she loves to run around barefoot and listen to a good story.

As pastor of Central Park Christian Church, it is Tim's prayer that you find the church to be a caring and encouraging group of people, intent on serving God and loving the neighborhood He has planted us in!
